Yes, we are licensed and bonded in Oak Park, Forest Park, and River Forest villages. Furthermore, we have comprehensive insurance that includes both liability and workers’ compensation.

We specialize in:

  • Residential Remodeling
  • Kitchen & Bathroom Overhauls
  • Historical Property Renovations
  • Repairs involving antiquated building methods.

Project durations vary, but general estimates are:

  • Kitchen Remodel: 3-4 months
  • Bathroom Remodel: 1-2 months
  • Full Home Revamp: Up to 12 months
  • Additions: 6-10 months

We start with an estimate based on the initial plans or blueprints. Any unforeseen issues or design changes will be addressed and approved by both the homeowner and contractor before proceeding. All adjustments are documented and shared with the homeowner.

We employ both. Our dedicated team manages our in-house crew and subcontractors. Typically, our crew handles trim and finish carpentry, while subcontractors take care of rough-ins.

We do. We’ll manage all the paperwork and secure the required permits. However, permit fees are to be covered by the homeowners.

We offer a free in-home consultation, during which we will provide a rough budget for your project.
Following this initial consultation, we can prepare a more detailed proposal for a fee based off the size of the project. This includes a line-item estimate—you’ll see pricing broken down by category (e.g., drywall, plumbing), but without detailed descriptions.  At this stage, if you need to adjust the scope or cost of the project, we’ll work with you to value engineer the plan and find savings where possible.
If you decide to move forward, the next steps are:
Permit drawings will need to be created.
A pre-construction contract will be signed between you (the owner) and the contractor.
Then when permit plans are issued, we will:
Bring in subcontractors to review existing site conditions and analyze the submitted plans.
After these steps, you’ll receive a detailed line-item estimate with more descriptive wording at no additional cost.

For extensive projects, we recommend moving out. For smaller tasks, homeowners can stay, but they should be prepared to live without the room that’s being renovated.

We can procure finishes if required. However, it’s often more economical for homeowners to source them directly.
